We recently acquired the rarest coffee we’ve ever had in five years. This coffee, the SL28, is truly one of a kind. It’s usually found only in Kenyan terroirs, as it was specifically developed for those regions. However, our favorite coffee wizard, Wilton Benitez, has managed to grow it on his Colombian plantation, Paraiso 92. Not only is this variety extremely rare outside of Kenya, but it is also grown naturally which is quite rare in Colombia. It’s a gift we’re giving ourselves, because, unless it were a special occasion like our fifth anniversary, we wouldn’t be able to afford such a piece of jewel.
